Hair Coloring Chalks

Couple of months back I heard a lot about hair coloring chalks on Facebook and as I love experimenting, I had to get them without even a second thought.

I ordered them online and kept braging in front of everyone that Oh I'll be receiving my hair coloring chalks soon, they will be so cool .. Anyways I received my parcel withing 2 days. It was nicely wrapped in an envelope but when I opened it, I was shocked to see that these were soft pastels/chalk pastels used for drawing  which were easily available at any stationary shop and this box costed about PKR 200 when purchased from any stationary shop.

Anyways I ignored the fact that I wasted money and prepared myself to try these, I made my friend's hair a little wet and started applying these chalks one by one, to my dismay, all my hands got colorful, less color was transferred to her hair and more was there on my fingers =/

The color started fading in about 5 minutes after application, well then I experimented another thing as some stores who were selling these *so* colored chalks claimed that to make the color last longer, after application straighten the highlighted hair so Yeah I did that and you know what was the outcome? The ceramic part of my straightener went all colorful,with no changes in the fading phase of the chalks..

& Yeah it even made the hair really dry.. which after washing and using the conditioner got back to normal.
